Hunting on over 6000 private acres from 9800 ft elevation down to 5000 ft providing opportunities for 160-180"+ trophy mule deer. There is heavy cover of sage brush, spruce and scrub oak that holds big bucks. Irrigated alfalfa, clover and hay fields keep high density of does and young deer on the property as the rut approaches. This private ground is also where game finds less pressure when the season begins on the BLM and National Forest land surrounding it. 4 day hunt includes 2x1 guiding, 5 star lodge accommodations and meals. Private land hunt with OTC elk tags also valid in units 52, 411, 421, 521.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This family run operation has nearly 150,000 acres with 2 low fence working cattle ranches and a 6,000 acre family ranch that is high fenced and trophy managed. This is a traditional Texas style hunt, utilizing hunting blinds and feeders. Feeders operate at these ranches year around, not just during the hunting season (which is expensive to do but the overall nutrition and substance benefit for the wildlife help create true trophy class animals.) This 4 day trophy hunt on the Family Ranch includes 1 trophy class buck, 1 management class buck (meaning any chocolate horned 8 point - some of these are breaking 150" B&C), guides (3:1), meals, lodging, meat and trophy care. Hunter's may also take 1 hog, plus any varmints (coyotes, bobcats, foxes) at no extra charge. No trophy fees on your trophy class buck. Not included: License (available OTC at any sporting goods store for around $300 or can be purchased online from Texas Parks and Wildlife at www.tpwd.state.tx.us), personal gear (no sleeping bags are needed all hunts are fully outfitted with lodging), or taxidermy. Pricing for additional non-hunter is $150 per day.

Rolling Bones Precision is now offering several Shooting Course options. Our mission is to provide you with the tools, training and motivation to dramatically improve your marksmanship. For some this will help them to get the most out of their participation in safe shooting sports. For hunters, it will dramatically improve your confidence and ability to make an accurate and humane extended range shot in the field. And that means a successful hunt and an excellent hunting adventure. The level 1 Rolling Bones Precision course is a prerequisite to this level 2 course. In course 2 you will meet at our headquarters in Spearfish, SD. From here we will head to the ranch. Here you will take your game to a new level in a realistic hunting environment under practical field conditions. We cover in detail, how to use your pack as a tool for shooting and essentials to go along with it. You will experience advanced shooting techniques in realistic hunting situations, angle shooting, and the effects on your equipment and shooting results. The last day includes real shooting applications from the time you arrive to successfully executing the shot required. COURSE DATES: Course Dates: August 24 - August 26, 2018
